Tom and John had just moved into their new penthouse in Mexico, but there was one room that still didn’t quite feel like theirs. Everything was impeccable: the finishes, the architecture, the light streaming through the windows… and yet, the space felt cold and generic. They wanted character, but they didn’t want to fill the room with objects or turn it into a showroom. They were looking for that special piece that would reflect their taste and make the room feel intentional, sophisticated, and deeply personal.

Then they found the answer: an iconic piece that could take center stage without overpowering the space. The Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman became the starting point; around them, the wood, deep tones, artwork, and textures began to find their place. It was no longer about decorating the room, but about giving it an identity. Because sometimes a space doesn’t need more things; it needs one piece with enough character to make everything else fall into place.
